Hi there, it’s Pam here.
Today I thought I’d show you a simple use for using up some of your wash tape. Most of us scrapbookers have a bit of an addiction to washi tape it seems, so it’s always good to think of different ways to use it.
Here’s what I did:
First I cut a small piece of card stock to fit the letter of my die: I used Sissix alphabet dies, but these dies from Kaisercraft would work just as well.
Then I covered the card stock with Chevron Washi tape, taking care to match up my chevrons:
I then placed it washi side down onto the die, and ran it through my cuttlebug to cut the letters:
I think these would look fabulous on a layout about zebras – maybe a safari or zoo layout!
My layout is about how much I love my down jacket. I bought it three years ago and have lived in it for the last three winters. It is so cosy, so light, and so comfortable!! I have used a small envelope into which I put the story of the jacket. I used a black pen to add some dashed lines around the layout. This helps to define certain areas and to pull the design together in a cohesive way.
I also love how some of the die cuts seem made for this story:
What ideas do you have for using your wash tape?
