Hello Kaisercraft fans,
Emmy here today with my first post for this month. I can’t believe the summer is almost gone and soon it will be winter! Luckily, to help my get into the winter / Christmas spirit, this month I’ve got the pleasure to work with one of the most enchanting Kaisercraft collections – Christmas Jewel (available at Merly Impressions’ online store).
For my background I layered the Ornate Garland foil paper on top of a Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock. Before adhering the two layers together, I inked the edges of the white cardstock with Mini Ink Pad – Orchid. Then I cut of 0.5 cm from each side of the foil paper, distressed its edges with Paper Distresser and adhered it on top of the cardstock using Kaisercraft 12mm Double-sided Tape. I tore stripes from a pattern paper from the Paper Pad and tucked them in between the two layers to give more distressed look to my background.
Once everything was in place, I added a dimensional layer using silver glitter paste and the snowy square from the Christmas Quarters 12×12 Stencil. Then I sprinkled a bit of KaiserMist Spray Ink – White.
I used two slightly larger panels from Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock to mat my picture. before adhering the second one with Mounting Foam Tape, I inked its edges with Mini Ink Pad – Orchid. Then I added the rest of the layers using papers and die cuts from the Paper Pad and Paper Doilies.
For my title I used a sticker from the Sticker Sheet matching the collection.
I hope you enjoyed today’s post!
