Hello and Goodbye

Hello everyone.

First I want to thank you all for coming back here and being with us, I have to say I had such an amazing time in this Design Team and it was a real honour to work with Kaisercraft products. Unfortunately I have to leave, it has been fantastic year for me.

Here’s my last inspiration for you: using elements from the lovely Cherry Blossom collection. Kaiser paints, & Blooms.

Not so messy this time!

Here’s some closer looks:

Layouts & Photos from January 2015 Crop

Many thanks to the scrappers who attended our January 2015 crop. We hope everyone enjoyed the day and the kit.

The kit for January was based on the Cherry Blossom collection from Kaisercraft and included instructions and stash to make two layouts that we called “Lovely Smile” and “Love You”.

The kit is available on the Merly Impressions shop – it can be found in the Layout Kits section of the website.

It was a well attended crop and it was good to see so many familiar faces. We hope everyone enjoyed the Merly Impressions shop as well.

Many thanks to Paul for making the fabulous cakes and sausage rolls !

January 2015 Crop – Layout Preview

Hi everyone,

Here are the sneak peeks and details of the layouts for the Merly Impressions Crop on Saturday 17th January 2015 – 10am to 4pm.

The kit uses the lovely Kaisercraft collection Cherry Blossom which features a beautiful subtle water colour palette with lanterns and lots of Cherry Blossom. The first layout, which I’ve called “Love You”, uses two colour photo’s measuring 9cm wide x about 13cm high. Sepia or black & white photo’s would also work.

The second layout which I’ve called “Lovely Smile” uses one coloured photo measuring 9.5cm wide by 18cm high. A sepia or Black & white photo would also work. I have used some MS punches – Cherished & Vintage Doily PATP sets and Eyelet Lace punch. (if you want to bring your own).

Other items used on the layouts which you will need to bring are a journal pen, a pink ink pad for inking round edges, foam pads. You will also need a needle for sewing (if you want to do it) and a small pair of scissors because there is a little fussy cutting on both of the layouts.  I have also used some Crystal Lacquer on some of the flower petals. A similar product will also work and this is optional. We will however have Crystal Lacquer & ink pads available to purchase in the Merly shop.

We will bring our usual supply of tools (Grand Calibur, Big Shot, Martha Stewart punches, Sew Easy Tools (which are used on the layouts), Tim Holtz Dies, etc) to the crop if people would like to use them to create their own title or cut out other embellishments.

For anyone who cannot join us on the day, the kit will be available to purchase on-line after the crop.

The location of the crop, together with other details and future dates can be found on our Crop Dates page.

There will also be the usual FABULOUS Merly Impressions Shop where you can purchase all the latest Kaisercraft goodies. Merley & Paul will be making a selection of yummy cakes & Sausage rolls. We will also bring biscuits, chocolates, tea and coffee. Please bring your own lunch.

See you all on January 17th at 10am, we are finishing at 4pm. The cost of the kit is £12.00 and your seat is £5.00 payable on the day.
