Time for some Twinchies with Christmas Edition

Hi everyone,

Denise here with my third project using the gorgeous  Christmas Edition Kaisercraft Collection.071Something a bit different today, some Twinchies. I think they may become my new obsession!

These are really quick to put together and can be used on cards, or scrapbook layouts,or framed in a box frame.

They start life as little card squares. You can paint them or ink them to start then stamp straight on to them if you wish. I decided to cover them with some of the papers from the Christmas Edition Kaisercraft collection.

Paper Pack - Christmas Edition Collection

They are also great for using your scraps up if you have some.

I covered them with papers then used lots of different products to decorate them.

The three above were covered with papers from the 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad, and decorated with die cuts from the Collectables.

These were also covered using papers from the 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad, some of the Collectables, some Diamond Stickles, a wood flourish word ‘Joy’. I coloured the berries and poinsettias with a Kaisercolour Gel Pen.

Last but not least, I inked around all of them with some distress ink and doodled around the edges with a black Kaiserpen.

These were really fun to do, you can let your imagination loose and soon make a few !

It’s Snow Cold with Christmas Edition

Hi everyone,

Denise here with my second project using Christmas Edition Collection Kaisercraft collection.

PicTapGoI started by using Smoke Kaisercard  as my base. I then cut a piece of Snow Capped paper ( using the black music notes side) down to 11.5 x 11.5 and stuck it to the grey card.

314I ripped  a piece of Christmas Tale paper and stuck this across the black paper.

Next, I splatted with some White Kaisermist over the page.

306Time for some fussy cutting ! I fussy cut some elements from the black side of the Rejoice paper, ferns and Poinsettias.

318I layered the Poinsettia with foam tape and added some gems.

318My photos were  mounted on to some Licorice Kaisercard and some of the Christmas Tale paper, a sticker from the Sticker Sheet was placed under the photos too

I also used some of the Collectables to embellish and some twine on the tag.

Finally,I doodled around the edge of the layout with a white pen, and added some Diamond Stickles to the snowflakes.

Season’s Greetings layout with Christmas Edition

Hello Kaisercraft fans,

Emmy here today with my second post for October featuring the lovely Christmas Edition collection from Kaisercraft (available at Merly Impressions’ online store).MI-Seasons-greetings-web-530For my background I used the Deer Frame die-cut paper and Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock. First I stamped a reddish frame around the edge of the cardstock using Clear Stamp – Lattice and Ink Pad – Red Gum. Then I carefully separated the frame from the die cut paper and adhered the middle part onto the cardstock using Kaisercraft 12mm Double-sided Tape. I added a frame around it with Glitter Tape – Silver. Finally, I secured the Die-cut frame on its position using Mounting Foam TapeMI-Seasons-greetings-det (1)Once everything was in its place, I added a silver edge using Stickles – Silver.

To decorate my page I used sticker words from the Sticker Sheet matching the collection.MI-Seasons-greetings-det (7)I combined fussy cut embellishments (from the foil papers from the Paper Pad) with die cut embellishments from the Collectables pack.MI-Seasons-greetings-det (4) MI-Seasons-greetings-det (3) MI-Seasons-greetings-det (5)The large black poinsettias and foliage, I fully cut from the Rejoice pattern paper. Gifts and Joy with Christmas Edition

Hello everyone,

Denise here with my first project using the new Christmas Edition Kaisercraft Collection.

006I feel so lucky to be working with these amazing collections that come out every month. They just keep getting better and better.

I started by using Coal paper as the base.

Next I used a Sew Easy Tool and Piercing Mat to pierce all around the edge of the speciality  Carol Notes Foil Paper, then stitched around with red floss using these perfect needles.

122Its very relaxing sewing around the edges! I distressed this and all the following papers around the edges.

Next, I matted my photo on to layers of papers from the 6.5 x 6.5  paper pad.

005I coloured in some of the berries on the die cuts from the Collectables Pack with Kaisercolour Gel pens

123125Across the middle I placed a sticker from the sticker sheet, i added some tiny yellow foam balls to add another small  splash of colour.

I used some flowers and stars from my stash to embellish the layout together with a tag and some die cuts from the collectables. The tag was attached with some gold twine.

005Thanks for visiting and I hope you love these collections as much as we do !

Emmy here today with my first post for October. This month I have the pleasure of working with an unusual, but very stylish Christmas collection from Kaisercraft – Christmas Edition (available at Merly Impressions’ online store).MI-Merry-Christmas-web-530

To create the background I layered the Snowcapped pattern paper on top of Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock. Before adhering the two layers together, I distressed the edges of the pattern paper and added a dimensional layer using Damask Quarters 12×12 Stencil and Texture Paste. As a final touch I sprinkled silver ink on top of it.MI-Merry-Chritsmas-det (1)To decorate my page I used sticker phrases from the Sticker Sheet matching the collection.

MI-Merry-Chritsmas-det (2)I added Kaisercraft paper blooms (Fire Red and Coconut) on top of various die cut embellishments from the Paper Pad and the Collectables pack.

MI-Merry-Chritsmas-det (3)I coloured some of the die cuts using Kaisercolour Gel Pens – red with glitter.

MI-Merry-Chritsmas-det (4)To create the decoration corner above my picture I fussy cut different foil embellishments from a foil pattern paper from the Paper Pad and die cut the large swirl using Foliage Decorative Die and  Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock. I added Rhinestones – Lippy Red as a final touch.
