Three Cards using Enchanted

Hi everyone, Denise here today with three cards .My brief was to create three cards with the Enchanted Collection, so here they are..

i wanted to make three similar cards with differing colour themes, so I set about doing it,

My first was a green one, The cards measured 6×6 inches, so I found some papers in the Paper Pad that were along the same colour lines. I chose papers from the paper pad, die cuts from the Collectables Pack and also stickers from the Sticker Book.IMG_1622

I chose a sentiment for each card from the Collectables Pack and the Sticker Book, then layered collectables and stickers on to the background. These were all mounted on to Foam Tape to give dimension. I inked around the edges with Pine Needles Distress Ink.

Next up was a vintage brown one

There are some beautiful gold foiled papers in the paper pad, so I used one of these as one of my base layers, again I used papers from the Paper Pad. Using more Collectables I decorated the front then inked around the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink

Last but by no means least I made a red floral themed one.

Again I layered papers from the Paper Pad on to the front, then chose Collectables to decorate, and this time I used a Curio at the top. To finish off I inked around the edges with Aged Mahogany Distress Ink.

I had fun making these cards, I hope you like them

Happy Crafting

Dream with Enchanted

Today I have my third and favourite page using the Enchanted range.  This one is again, very different to my previous ones which emphasises how versatile this paper collection is and I had the perfect photo of Gracia blowing a dandelion clock to compliment it.  Main

For this layout I have used Imagine, Utopia and two pieces of Picturesque 12 x 12 paper, Kaisercard Coal Weave CardstockCollectables, 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad, Enchanted Stamps, Make a Wish Stamps, silver rhinestones and mounting foam dots.

I started by cutting .5 in from the bottom and one side of the Imagine paper and stuck this to one of my pieces of Picturesque.  Then I cut .75 from the bottom and one side of the  Coal Weave Cardstock and adhered this to the piece of Imagine paper.

Next I used a compass to draw a circle onto the Coal Cardstock .  I stamped the dandelion from the  Enchanted Stamp set and added little seeds flying off using a stamp from the Make a Wish stamp set.  I then drew over the circle with a white pen.

I added some of the smallest gemstones from the pack of  silver rhinestones,

I cut a piece of paper from the 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad, measuring 5.5 ins square and mounted my photo onto this, I then cut a 6 in square of paper from my second piece of Picturesque paper and added this to the bottom of my stack.

This was placed to the top right of my drawn circle.

All that remained was to cut some flowers and leaves from the Utopia paper and 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad and, along with some flowers from the Collectables pack, arrange them around my circle sticking them down with mounting foam dots adding a silver rhinestone to the centre of each one.  My title was also from the collectables pack.

I am not someone who is comfortable stamping straight onto a layout but pushed myself out of my comfort zone and it is something I would totally recommend trying.

Until next time, hope you have been inspired by the projects we have made with Enchanted (Denise and Chrissy have made beautiful layouts using it this month) and we would love to see what you make with this range.

Cherished with Enchanted

Hi everyone Denise here again with another layout using the Enchanted CollectionIMG_1307RB

This collection is very versatile as I used it for a masculine layout last time and this time i’m going girly!

I started with a piece of Wonder paper, using the plain side, I also left the manufacturer’s strip along the bottom. I then cut a strip from Utopia paper measuring 4 inches wide x 12 inches long and a strip measuring 1/4 of an inch x 12 inches from the red side of Fairytale paper. This was then  adhered on the right hand side of the paper.

Next, I pierced around three sides of the plain paper then stitched around with red thread and using the Stonewall 6×6 stencil and some Aged Mahogany Ink stencilled areas on the paper. I also inked around the edges of the layout.IMG_1150

Once this was done I matted my photo using different papers from the Paper Pad, distressed the edges then placed it roughly in the middle of the layout.

I used some of the elements from the back of the paper pad to embellish the layout I also fussy cut a little bird from one of the papers in the pad.IMG_1306

Next, I fussy cut some flowers and also used some of the die cuts from the Collectables Pack to layer around the sides and bottom of the photo.  I also used some phrases  from the Paper Pad around  the photo and used some elements from the Sticker Book around the layout .

Finally I used some little colour co ordinating bows from my stash to finish off.

Thank you for visiting and do pop back for some more inspiration from the team very soon

Believe with Enchanted

As soon as I saw the paper, aptly named Fairytale, with little toadstools on it , from the Enchanted Collection, reminded me of a fairy grotto and so that gave me the idea of adding ‘fairy wings’ to a full length photo of Gracia and building a fairy grotto around the photo.

For this layout I have used Fairytale, Mystical and Utopia 12 x 12 papers, Caramel Weave cardstockCollectables, 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad, Make a Wish stamp and die set, Rhinestones – Silver and Mounting Foam Tape.

I started by cutting 1.5 ins from the top of the Fairytale paper and stuck this to a piece of Caramel Weave cardstock. I then used a plate to draw a semi circle onto the top part of the Mystical, fussy cut this out and added to the top of my page using Mounting Foam Tape to give it dimension.

Next I fussy cut a full length photo of Gracia  and used the wings from the stamp set to stamp and heat emboss onto a piece of vellum to create her fairy wings.

I added a toadstool, from the Collectables to the centre of my page approx 1 in from the bottom, using Mounting Foam Dots and added Gracia’s photo to the top of this to look as though she was standing on it.  I then fussy cut some more toadstalls from the Utopia paper and added them, with some small ones from the Collectables  either side of my page.

I used the butterfly stamp from the Make a Wish stamp and die set and heat embossed and cut butterflies from the red with white spots paper in the 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad , scattering these around my page. I added one to cover up Gracia’s feet as on the photo she is standing in the sea and her feet looked strange.

I embellished the fairy wings and butterflies with Rhinestones – Silver , also adding three to Gracia’s head to make a ‘fairy crown’.

Finally I mounted the ‘Believe’, from the Collectables  pack onto a scrap of the paper I used for my butterflies and added a phrase, also from the Collectables pack.

I had so much fun creating this layout and love that it was so different to my previous one.  This is certainly a very versatile paper range suitable for both genders.

Believe with Enchanted

Hello everyone, Denise here today with my first project using the magical  Enchanted Collection IMG_1149 RB2

I thought this collection was perfect to use a photo of my son visiting the Gnome Reserve, fun and magical focusing on using the Stonewall Designer Stencil and Collectables Pack.

First of all I took a sheet of Starry Eyed paper ( using the cobbled side ). I gutted it leaving a one inch frame so I could  then use the paper on something else.

Once it was cut out I inked around it with some Brushed Corduroy distress ink to tone it down a little.

Next I took a sheet of Caramel Weave Kaisercard as this was going to be the base of my layout.

I took a sheet of the beautiful Fairytale woodland paper, cut it down by half and inch on two sides and stencilled across the top with distress ink and the Stonewall Stencil.

After this I adhered it to the caramel card.IMG_1142

Once this was done I adhered the stonewall frame onto the page using foam tape

My photos were mounted on to some of the papers from the Paper Pad.

Finally I decorated around the sides and bottom using lots of collectables from the Collectables Pack and a few stickers from the Sticker Book

This is a truly magical, versatile collection and the team will be back soon with some great inspiration from this month’s collections.

Kaisercraft DT Guest post – Enchanted, Dance Like no one’s watching

Hi Everyone,

I was so excited when asked by Melissa Kennedy to be a guest designer for July for Kaissercraft. I was also thrilled to be given the beautifully magical “Enchanted” Kaisercraft collection to create my project with, it features mystical fairytale imagery of trees, mushrooms & hidden doors.

PAPERS: Enchanted collection: P2784 Whimsy|P2786 Mystical|P2787 Fairytale|P2788 Idyllic|P2790 Starry-eyed|P2791 Utopia|CT966 Collectables|PP1072 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad

KC PRODUCTS: CD325 Ruby Kaisercard|SB711 Red Rhinestones|T303 Foam Tape

As soon as I saw this collection and the beautiful Whimsy paper I knew how I wanted my layout to turn out and I had the perfect photo in mind. I started by cutting out the trees from three of the Whimsy papers and layering them up, I wanted to give the illusion of looking through the trees. I matted these onto the reverse of the Idyllic paper and then onto the Ruby Kaisercard with just a little bit of the cardstock showing top and bottom of the layout. I printed out my photo so it fitted perfectly in the centre.IMG_2441 (2)

I love stitching on my layouts, so added some hand stitching at the top and bottom with colour coordinating thread. I fussy cut all the beautiful elements from the Starry-eyed & Utopia papers and the door from the Mystical paper.

IMG_2942 (2)

The beautiful bright red flowers were fussy cut from the 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad. I then started to add all the elements around my layout, tucking them in between the tree layers to form little clusters. I also love the info strips you get at the bottom of all the Kaisercraft papers – they often have beautiful sayings on them and they also make great titles. I added one to the bottom of my layout.

I added foam pads to some to give height and dimension.

To finish off I added some rhinestones to the centres of some of the fussy cut flora.

The Enchanted Collection is so beautiful – its suitable for projects featuring children playing, strolls through the woods, or just your favourite outdoorsy photos and much more.

I hope you have enjoyed my first project as a Guest Designer for Kaisercraft and hope you are inspired to use your beautiful Enchanted collection.

Happy crafting!!

My Dreams with Enchanted

Hello, Karen here with my first project using Kaisercraft’s Enchanted.  This is quite an eclectic collection with elements that I felt were predominantly masculine and others that were definitely feminine.  For this layout I chose to go along the masculine route.

I have used Cinnamon Weave Card, Idyllic, Starry-Eyed and Wander 12 x 12 papers, 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad, Collectables, Stamp Set, Stonewall 6 x 6 Stencil and Chocolate Kaiserpad .  I also used metal keys, purchased previously from Merly Impressions.

I started by stamping the keys from the  Stamp Set onto each corner, and heat embossing in gold.

I then cut my peace of  Starry-Eyed to 8ins square.  I used the  a sponge dauber, Stonewall 6 x 6 Stencil and  Chocolate Kaiserpad to add some interest to each side of my page, taking the ink from the cardstock over the paper.

Next I cut a piece of Idyllic to 6.75ins x 4.75ins and stuck this to the centre of the piece of Starry-Eyed.  From the 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad I cut two pieces of the black paper with gold flowers to 1.5in x 4ins and also the two red locks.  I added these to the left and right of my photo mount.   The key paper from the paper pad was cut to 4.5ins wide and added to the top of the Idyllic piece.  I cut the phrase ‘My Dreams …’ from the Wander paper and added to the bottom left of my photo.

To embellish my pages I added clusters of Collectables and metal keys.
