Great Heart layout with Memory lane

Hello Kaisercraft fans!

Emmy here today with my first layout for June. This month I have the absolute pleasure to design with one of the most amazing Kaisercraft collections Memory Lane (available at Merly Impressions’ online store).MI-Great-heart-web530To create my background I used Kaisercard Mocha Weave Cardstock and different stencils and Texture Paste. I used Texture Paste and Waffle 6×6 Designer Stencil to create the white dimensional layer. Then I added the glittery green layer using glitter paste and Blossom Mini Designer Stencil. As a final touch I sprinkled KaiserMist Spray Ink – Antique Gold.MI-Great-heart-det-b (1)

I used two photographs of my daughter, which I distressed with Paper distresser and a piercing tool. I adhered them using Mounting Foam Tape.

To decorate my picture I used pre-cut elements from the Collectables Pack and the Paper pad. I embossed the flowers slightly with an Embossing Tool and adhered them around my picture using Mounting Foam Dots.MI-Great-heart-det-b (9) MI-Great-heart-det-b (4)Then I added Pearls – Pearl to the middle of the blooms.

Pretty in pink with Miss Betty

Hello everyone,

Denise here with my second layout using the very lovely Miss Betty Collection.

File 14-03-2018, 17 44 59-Resized banner

On this layout I used a lot of items from the Sticker Sheet which as always is packed full of many lovely designs to use, be they long borders to cut up, word titles or pretty butterflies.

Sticker Sheet - Miss Betty Collection

I started by using a sheet of the pink dotty side of Stitched paper.

Next I used a sheet of Coconut Weave Kaisercard which I cut down by 1/4 of an inch on two adjacent sides.

I decided to do some stitching along the edges as the collection is quite sewing themed.

I took some of the long stickers, cut them down then stuck them on to card to make them easier to mount, then placed them down the left hand side of the layout.

I used most of the butterflies and moths, some of the long stickers and also the round words whilst also cutting some strips from some of the 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad and some of the die cuts from the Collectables which were all mounted on to foam tape for dimension.

I mounted my photo on to three layers of papers from the 6.5 x 6.5  pad and distressed the edges of the papers with a paper distresser.

For finishing touches I used some little Candy Epoxy Stickers and flicked some Peach Kaisermist over the background.

I’m really loving this collection and will be back soon with another layout.

Finding Pluto with Havana Nights

Hello everyone,

Denise here with another layout using the beautiful Havana Nights Kaisercraft collection.

IMG_8806-BANNER ResizedI started off by using the bamboo side of the Lush paper, next I took the woodgrain side of Mosaic Tile paper, cut it down on two sides by half an inch then placed it onto the background.

I used some of the papers from the  6.5 x 6.5  paper pad to make a diagonal mat on to the woodgrain paper over on the left hand side.

I took some Texture Paste through a  Grid Stencil just on the edge of the mat on the left side.

Now time for some stamping using the matching stamp set

I used a Versamark sticky ink to stamp a mosaic, flower and fern numerous times then used white embossing powder and set with a heat gun. This was done using a woodgrain paper from the 6.5 x 6.5  pad.

I then fussy cut them all out, so relaxing !

Once I’d fussy cut them all I placed them around the top and bottom of the layout on the left hand side.

My photo was matted on to some papers from the 6.5 x 6.5  pad and placed on the left hand side also.

I used some of the die cuts from the Collectables Pack raised on foam tape around the photo.

I also used some of the Epoxy stickers and some Pink Hemp Twine around and under the die cuts.

Pawfect Scrapbook Layout

Hi Everyone

As usual, Kaisercraft have bought out yet another wonderful collection for all of us animal lovers and pet owners so I’m delighted to bring you this layout using the Pawfect dog collection..although it also available in cats too!

imageTo to start with I used the reverse of the ‘Dogs’ paper which is a lovely warm wood effect. I then matted the photo on the Pawsome paper and tied Metallic Hemp Cord around it twice, knotting it over the edge of the photo of my grand daughter with one of our three dogs. . I journaled on a tag from the collectables pack. Our dog is called Bella, but at just under two years old our GD can’t master that yet so she affectionately calls her ‘Lella’ instead. Lol
imageI then layered the lighter wood effect paper from the Cats & Pawfect paper and added some Pawsome paper and the large sentiment from the Ruff paper on the left hand side.

To add some texture I used the 6.” paper pad of Burlap Stack behind the Cats Pawfect paper and below the photo.

I then used several stickers from the Pawfect sticker sheet and added die cuts from the collectables pack together with some stars and dots from the Epoxy stickers Natural collection. The title is also cut from the Ruff sheet with the ‘Woof’ above the photo being one of the collectables from the dog set.

Finally I used a die to cut a heart from the burlap stack and another die to cut an arrow. I then cut a slit in the burlap arrow and slipped the arrow die from the collectable pack through it.

I hope all you cat owners and dog owners will find this collection useful..I know I will!

Elaine
