Meeting Santa with First Noel

Hi everyone,

Denise here with my final layout using the First Noel Collection.IMG_5086-resized-banner

I concentrated on using the 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad  and Collectables this time, starting with a sheet of Gifts paper using the gold foiled holly side.

Next I used a sheet of Grey Premium kaiser card, cutting it down by 1/2 an inch on two adjacent sides.

I used a sheet of the snowflake side of Evergreen paper as a big mat ,then fussy cut lots of presents from the 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad and 12 x 12  Wrapped paper .

I used lots of layers of papers from the paper pad to mat my photo, including the lovely gold foil stripe .

Underneath my photo I placed some scalloped border strips which were mounted on to foam tape to give depth.

I used sheets of gold paper from the 6.5 x 6.5 pad to die cut my title

Although I did use 12 x 12 paper on the base of my layout, with a piece of cardstock, with just the pack of collectables and the paper pad you can easily make a layout as there is so much to choose from in both.

I hope you like this simply put together layout and will use those papers and collectables !

Happy scrapping

Christmas Banner with First Noel

Hello –

Karen here with my final, and by far my favourite, project from this month’s First Noel collection, a Christmas Banner.

IMG_4630

I used a pre-cut Kraft banner as my base but it would really easy to make your own from Kraft card.

IMG_4633

I started each pennant by adding a slightly smaller piece of paper to the front.  The papers were from the 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad and I also used a small piece of the foiled side of Evergreen.

IMG_4632

I then punched a 2.5 inch circle from a selection of papers from the 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad.  I adhered these to the back of my doilies (from my own supplies) and placed that at the centre top of my pennants .

IMG_4631

Now came the fun part!  Adding pieces cut from Wrapped, Hark, Evergreen and Calm.  I also used elements from the Sticker Sheet6.5 x 6.5 paper pad and Collectables Pack adding Deep Yellow rhinestones as lights to my trees.

This was such a quick and enjoyable project to make – one that I left out in my Kitchen and just added bits to whilst making dinner one evening.

I hope my photos do this gorgeous paper range justice and you can see the lovely shiny gold accents.

I will be back again next month and until then hope you have a scrapalicious time xxx

Hi everyone,

Stars Mini Designer Stencil

I started with a sheet of polka dot Noel paper as the background then decided to use a black Licorice Kaisercard  and some  Transparent Gloss texture paste and glitter through the stencil to show the stars off. I cut the black card down by 1/4 of an inch on two adjacent sides.

IMG_4703

Next I punched along two separate strips 2 inches deep and 6 inches wide from a sheet of black and gold dotty paper from  the 6.5×6.5paper pad with a snowflake punch. These were placed along the bottom of the black card.

IMG_4702

I kept the snowflakes that were punched out and used them to decorate alongside the gold stars at the top of the layout.IMG_4704

I used the same paper from the 6.5 x 6.5  pad to mat my photo.

IMG_4704

I placed lots of die cuts from the Collectables along the bottom mounting them on foam tape for dimension.

Finally i added some rhinestones to the middle of the punched snowflakes.

This is an amazing collection to work with and can be used for lots of different projects, do pop back to see other lovely projects  the team have to show you .

Snow Cute with First Noel

Hello,

Karen here with my second project for November using the First Noel Kaisercraft collection.  For this page I wanted to focus on the snowy elements in the range to highlight the photo of my daughter and her, then, new puppy.

16

I started with a piece of Licorice cardstock and added some texture using Transparent Gloss Texture Paste mixed with some glitter and the Snowy 6 x 6 Designer stencil.  I used the stencil at a slight angle twice across my page.

13

Whilst I waited for this to dry I die cut some snowflakes and my title from the gold sheets found in the 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad. You could also used these Kaisercraft Woodflourish Snowflakes.  Once dry I assembled my page, starting by adding a piece of paper (black with gold dots from the 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad) to the centre of my page.  I used Mounting Foam Tape which gave me a gap between the paper and cardstock.  Onto this I added a 5.5 x 5.5 piece of Holy Night.  I then cut the black grid paper from the 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad to 5in x 4in and added a piece of black card 4.5 x 3.5.  Finally I added my 3 x 4 in photo.  All layers were adhered with Mounting Foam Tape.

15

I added my snowflakes, tucking some in between my photo mount layers and one at the top left and another at the bottom right of my page.  My title was added at the bottom left.

14

The final touch was to adhere a piece of the black and white snow border, from the 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad to the top left of my page to which I added the word Joyful that was from the Collectables pack.  All that was left was to add a tag, from the Collectables pack with three small punched snowflakes.

11

I really loved using the gold foil from the 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad and found that it die cut and punched beautifully.

12

I already have my third project for this month made and it is a piece of Christmas decor which I can’t wait to show you.  Until then don’t forget to pop back to see what Chrissy, Denise and Emmy have made this month x

Cards and Tags with First Noel

Hi everyone,

Denise here with my first project using The First Noel Kaisercrft collection.IMG_5077 resized banner

My assignment for the first project was free and when I saw the many greetings and images in the collectables it made me want to make some cards and tags.

I decided to use Kraft card for the bases  and started by creating two 6×6 cards .

The first card was  covered with a mustard dotty paper from the paper pad then I simply added a Three Kings image from the Starry paper and a gold nativity star and sentiment from the Collectables  and finally some gold gems.

IMG_5092

The next card was again a 6 inch x 6 inch size. I matted and layered some kraft and black card together with some papers from the 6.5 x 6.5  paper pad. The presents were a mix of collectables and fussy cut from the 6×6 paper pad. I used a sticker from  the Sticker Sheet on the background.

The last little card is something a bit different, I started with three 4 inch squares and scored diagonally across each one.IMG_5092

IMG_4984

I then stuck the middle one across the other two as shown below.IMG_4985

Your pyramid is now made.

IMG_5091

IMG_5090

I decorated all three sides of the pyramid, but you could leave one side clear to write your own greeting on.

IMG_5079

Finally I made some co- ordinating tags from the same kraft card, which were decorated with papers from the main collection, sticker sheet and the paper pad and collectables. To finish off I edged all the cards and the tags with a gold pen. To finish off I added some Bakers Twine.

There are some gorgeous projects coming up from the team with this collection. I hope you have enjoyed these !
