Hello Kaisercraft fans,
Emmy here today sharing my latest layout I created for Merly Impressions’ blog using the lovely Grand Bazaar collection from Kaisercraft (available at Merly Impressions’ online store). To create my background I used Folklore pattern paper and Boho Paisley pattern paper. I cut a 15 x 30 cm panel from each pattern paper, distressed their edges using a Paper Distresser and adhered them on top of a Kaisercard Blueberry Weave cardstock. To ‘hide’ the stitch between two pattern papers, I adhered one of the cut-off stripes on top.
Then using Garden 6×6 Designer Stencil and Texture Paste I created the white dimensional pattern on the dark blue half and using the Clear Stamp – Lattice and KaiserInk Pad – Chocolate I stamped the brownish pattern on the lighter half of my background paper. Once the paste has dried I sprinkled KaiserMist Spray Ink – White and KaiserMist Spray Ink – Antique Gold on all layers.
I layered my picture on a slightly larger panel of Kaisercard Marble Weave Cardstock. For the layers under my picture I used a glossy pattern paper from the the Paper Pad and fussy cut embellishments from Ceramic Tiles pattern paper and Doorway pattern paper. I fussy cut flowers from the Boho Paisley pattern paper, combined them with pre-cut blossoms from the Collectables pack and adhered them using Mounting Foam Tape. Then I decorated them with Rhinestones – Island Lagoon and Curios matching the collection.
To decorate my page further I used stickers from the Sticker book matching the collection.
For my title I used a large sticker word, which I adhered using Mounting Foam Dots. Once it was secured on the background, I decorated it with Rhinestones – Island Lagoon.
I hope I managed to inspire you today!
Have a wonderful creative weekend!
