Denise here with my last project using the Little Women collection from Graphic 45.
When I received this collection I really wanted to do an album or layout featuring the ‘little women’ in our family. I used a Heartfelt Creations Flip Album for my project, all ready made and perfect to decorate.
The pages were covered with papers from the paper pad, and 12 x 12 papers, and some journalling cards from the Ephemera pack. I also fussy cut a few elements from the collection and used some little metal frame embellishments. There are lots of photos in this post, as there are quite a few pages. I hope you enjoy !
First up it’s my mum and me .
Then there is a two page spread using a file folder that I cut out from a template at the back of the 12 x 12 pad then a flip out piece on the right revealing the photos
Next, a photo of the newest member and the oldest !
Then we have the 6 current Mrs Homeses
Then we have a double page with yours truly and the girls and a flip out piece to reveal the other photos
This collection is perfect for any projects like this and I hope you like it !

Denise here with my second project and this month I am using the exquisite Little Women collection from Graphic 45
When I received the collection, the blue really struck me so I decided to go with those tones on this layout.I went to town with lots of punching, sewing and die cutting with this layout as I loved the papers so much.
Firstly I used a sheet of Ivory 12 x 12 card, then after cutting down by 1/4 of an inch on two sides added a sheet of the beautiful blue paper from the 12 x 12 Patterns and Solids Pad.
I then used a punch around the page on a sheet of the blue side of Full Bloom paper, then pierced around the edge with a piercing tool then sewed with cream thread.
I cut some random length strips from the papers measuring half an inch wide and adhered them on the right hand side of the layout.I also tried some different journalling cards on the left from the Journalling Ephemera Pack.
I die cut various elements from the following dies,Floral Branch Floral Cluster Berry Vine Fern Leaf from various papers in the collection.
My photo was mounted on plain blue paper and placed half way down on the right hand side and embellished with the die cuts. To add some extra detail,I dotted around some of the elements with a white pen.I also fussy cut some flowers from the papers.
From the Literary Lessons paper, I fussy cut the oval with the group of ladies on and adhered on the bottom left of the layout.
I’ve really loved working this collection and will be back with something else very soon from it.

Denise here with a lovely quick layout using the gorgeous Little Women Collection from Graphic 45, a nice surprise to receive this month.
My lovely colleague on the team Karen gave me one of her hexagon printed backgrounds so I used it for a fun to make layout.
This was drawn on her electronic cutting machine but you could draw it out yourself.
It can also be used horizontally if you prefer.
I cut a rectangle from one of the papers from the 12 x 12 pad then adhered it in the middle section.
I cut lots of hexagons from the papers then placed them inside the drawn shapes on the background.
My photo was matted on to a plain paper from the pad.
I then cut some strips of paper to add interest behind the photo and a Journalling card from the Ephemera and Journalling pack.
Lastly, to add a tiny bit of colour I fussy cut some flowers and stamps from the papers and added a fussy cut old fashioned ink pen to add at the side, together with some Kaisermist which I flicked over the background.
This was a simple and fun layout to create and I hope you like it !
