Girls Club with Boho Dreams

Hello everyone,

Denise here today with another layout using Boho Dreams Kaisercraft collection.

008My main focus in this layout is the Dream Catcher Die Cut Paper.

dreamcatcher-die-cut-paper-boho-dreams-collectionI am one who loves a bit of ‘fussy cutting’ so I decided to do some ‘back filling’ with this gorgeous die cut paper.

Firstly I took a sheet of wild paper and drew around the inside of one of the diamonds on the die cut paper.

128I cut enough diamonds to fill one round of larger diamonds and one round of smaller diamonds.

I then stuck mini foam pads all around the back.

129Next I stuck the diamonds using alternating patterns to the back of the die cut paper.

131Until it looked like this….

133I then placed foam pads all around the outer edge and stuck it to the brown side of Dreamcatcher paper.

I matted my photo on to some pieces of the Wild and Adventurer papers.

140Now it was time to crack open the Collectables and choose some to layer around my photo.

collectables-boho-dreams-collectionFinally I added a die cut dream catcher and paper flower and some journalling with white pen  to finish off.

008Thank you for popping by and hope you can come back to see some more inspiration from the team very soon.

Remember & Cherish Forever with Cottage Rose

Hi everyone,

Denise here today with my final layout using the Cottage Rose Kaisercraft collection.

022-2The roses and flowers in this collection made me feel a bit nostalgic and I knew which photo I wanted to use with this layout.

I’ve used quite a lot of stickers from the sticker sheet on this layout.

sticker-sheet-cottage-rose-collectionI started off with Ballet Kaisercard as my background – such a beautiful shade of pink. Next I took the Garden paper, cut it down to 11.75 inches square and placed on the pink card. I then cut the Pink polka dot side of Wallpaper down to 8 x 11.25 inches and the Quilt paper to 3.5 x 11.25 inches. These were placed on the flowery Garden paper – quilted at the bottom and polka dots at the top. Three sticker borders were placed over the join overlapping one another.

I then took the gorgeous black and white lacy Crochet paper, cut a strip 2.5 inches deep and 11.25 inches wide. I then punched down each long side then cut in half horizontally to make two strips . I stuck these at the top and bottom of the layout.

I sprayed the whole layout with Antique Gold Kaisermist005I matted my 6×4 portrait photo onto the pink side of Crochet paper, distressed the edges with a Distress Tool then with a Kaiserglitter pen in Lipstick I doodled around the edges of the mat. I placed the photo on the middle left of the layout. Some doilies from the Collectables pack were tucked underneath the photo, inked around with Aged Mahogany Distress Ink and doodled around too.

I took the really big flower sticker from the sticker sheet and stuck it to some card then cut around it mounted on to foam tape then stuck on to the quilt paper at the bottom – this was also sprayed with Antique Gold Kaisermist.

023From the Frames paper I cut a pink door and made into a tag for some hidden journalling using the Kaiser Gel Pens – this was tucked under the left of the photo.

009Photo frame corner stickers were mounted on to foam tape and added at the corners of the layout and Remember & Cherish Forever stickers were stuck to card, cut around and mounted onto foam tape to use as the title as well as a ‘Happy Times ‘ circular sentiment.014I added some pink gems around the doilies and inked around the whole outside edge of the Ballet Kaisercard base with Aged Mahogany Distress Ink to finish off.

I hope you’ve enjoyed our inspiration using the Cottage Rose Collection and hope you will pop back soon for some more inspiration from the team

Timeless Moments with Cottage Rose

Hello everyone,

Denise here again with another layout featuring the gorgeous Cottage Rose Collection.

058I wanted to make use of some of the many frames on one of the papers called ‘Framed’

framed-cottage-rose-collectionI started by using Ballet Weave Kaisercard as my base. I then took the  Garden paper, cut it down to 11.25 x 11.25 and placed it green side up on the pink card. Next I took the Fragrant paper, gutted the middle out leaving a roughly one inch frame all round but leaving the rose in the corner intact – cutting round that. This was mounted on foam tape and placed onto the green Garden paper.

Now for the frames. I decided on using  frames to look like they were pictures on a wall – using two photos . Firstly I placed the photos where I wanted them. I carefully cut the middle out from the larger pink frame removing the green wording then mounted this over my larger photo with foam tape. I then used the stone looking frame and cut the pink middle out. I placed my photo inside the frame then added the green frame on foam tape after cutting out the floral middle.

058 (2)Next I placed two of the smaller frames with floral insides either side of the frames with the photos in. Two more frames were layered on top of one another and placed in the middle overlapping the other frames.

058 - CopyNext, I used a rose and pink doily from the Collectables pack to decorate the top right corner. I also used two wordings and a lion head together with a key inside of the frames. Some Soft Pink Rhinestones were used as embellishments in the middle frame and inside the key. My title was cut from the wording from inside two of the frames.

055I also used the grey manufacturer’s strip with the words ‘ A moment lasts all of a second but the memory lives on forever’ from the Floral Bouquet paper along the bottom of the pink frame. Lastly, my journalling was written along the side of the frame using the gorgeous glittery black pen from the Kaiser Gel pen set.059 (2)This is a fabulous collection – it was really hard to decide which sides to use as they are all so lovely. Thanks for popping by and hope to see you back soon for some more inspiration from the team.
