Hi everyone,
Denise here today with my final layout using the Cottage Rose Kaisercraft collection.
The roses and flowers in this collection made me feel a bit nostalgic and I knew which photo I wanted to use with this layout.
I’ve used quite a lot of stickers from the sticker sheet on this layout.
I started off with Ballet Kaisercard as my background – such a beautiful shade of pink. Next I took the Garden paper, cut it down to 11.75 inches square and placed on the pink card. I then cut the Pink polka dot side of Wallpaper down to 8 x 11.25 inches and the Quilt paper to 3.5 x 11.25 inches. These were placed on the flowery Garden paper – quilted at the bottom and polka dots at the top. Three sticker borders were placed over the join overlapping one another.
I then took the gorgeous black and white lacy Crochet paper, cut a strip 2.5 inches deep and 11.25 inches wide. I then punched down each long side then cut in half horizontally to make two strips . I stuck these at the top and bottom of the layout.
I sprayed the whole layout with Antique Gold Kaisermist
I matted my 6×4 portrait photo onto the pink side of Crochet paper, distressed the edges with a Distress Tool then with a Kaiserglitter pen in Lipstick I doodled around the edges of the mat. I placed the photo on the middle left of the layout. Some doilies from the Collectables pack were tucked underneath the photo, inked around with Aged Mahogany Distress Ink and doodled around too.
I took the really big flower sticker from the sticker sheet and stuck it to some card then cut around it mounted on to foam tape then stuck on to the quilt paper at the bottom – this was also sprayed with Antique Gold Kaisermist.
From the Frames paper I cut a pink door and made into a tag for some hidden journalling using the Kaiser Gel Pens – this was tucked under the left of the photo.

Photo frame corner stickers were mounted on to foam tape and added at the corners of the layout and Remember & Cherish Forever stickers were stuck to card, cut around and mounted onto foam tape to use as the title as well as a ‘Happy Times ‘ circular sentiment.
I added some pink gems around the doilies and inked around the whole outside edge of the Ballet Kaisercard base with Aged Mahogany Distress Ink to finish off.
I hope you’ve enjoyed our inspiration using the Cottage Rose Collection and hope you will pop back soon for some more inspiration from the team
