Make Your Own Magic

Hi everyone, Denise here with another page using the lovely  12 x 12 Unicorn Pad

IMG_2319RB

I used one of the ditsy floral papers from the pad as my background.

From a sheet of Snow Weave card,I drew a heart then cut it out. I then pierced around the edges of the card then stitched with lilac thread, I also doodled and stitched the doodled design. I trimmed the white card down to 11.5 x 11.5 inches.

Next, I stencilled some stars using the Scattered Stars Designer Stencil round the layout using Lilac Distress Ink

I drew around the heart with a pink glittery  Gel Pen.

I then adhered the white heart frame to  the ditsy flower background and embellished with items from my stash and some of the elements that I fussy cut from the pad and some Paper Flowers

To finish off I decorated with some Pink Rhinestones.

I hope you like what I’ve done and will give one of the lovely Paper Pads a try

Being Nanny with Graphic 45

Good morning everyone and Happy New Year to you all.

I was chuffed to bits when I was sent the wonderful Graphic 45 collection Little Darlings this month. I have recently joined the grandparents club so of course I have some baby photos to use !

IMG_E8012I love the mix of ditsy flower papers, ginghams and stripes in this collection.

Little Darlings Deluxe Collectors Edition

I used a sheet of Ballet Kaisercard for my base. I then used a selection of three papers, a polka dotty one and gingham one were cut into 12 x 2.5  inch strips then punched along one long side with a decorative punch.

IMG_8008I cut a larger piece of ditsy flower paper and layered these over the base of pink card leaving a tiny strip of card showing.

IMG_8016I dotted  round the punched edges with a Kaiser Gel Pen to make the pattern pop a bit.

I made a frame from the gingham paper to frame my photo and layered some papers under this on the left hand side of my layout.

Next I used some stickers from the sticker sheet to embellish around the layout and one of the gingham frames was used to frame a tiny photo.IMG_8013I cut two tiny banners from the papers to add around the little photo alongside some of the stickers. I also fussy cut some little butterflies to dot around.

My frames were mounted with some foam tape.

I really enjoyed working with these lovely papers and am looking forward to making another layout with them .

Happy crafting !

Tea Time in Wonderland

Hello everyone,

Denise here, I hope you are all having a lovely bank holiday. I’m back today with a layout using the very gorgeous High Tea Kaisercraft Collection.

146BBThe team have been focusing on the many rubber stamps this month and I used the lovely

Floral Wallpaper texture background stamp.

Clear Texture Stamp - Floral Wallpaper

I started by using the grey side of the Afternoon Tea paper and stamped over half of it with a kaisercraft  mini black ink pad.

132I then cut this and the Tea Time paper down to measure 11 x 11 and stuck them on to the  Cuppa paper. I also cut round the teapot and flowers at the bottom right hand corner with a craft knife then raised the teapot with foam pads to add some interest at the bottom.

135Next I used some Candy Kaisermist ( one of my favourites at the moment) and flicked over the layout.139I added a border strip from the sticker sheet across the middle .

My photos were matted on to white kaisercard then layered on to some more of the papers.

I used some of the many die cuts from the Collectables Pack to embellish around the layout

147Together with some gems and heart stickers from the sticker sheet.

I also drew around the edges with a Kaiser Gel Pen to finish off.  There are certainly some amazing collections being released constantly and I am so loving working with these – hope you are enjoying the inspiration from the team.

DSC_0709 DSC_0714 DSC_0718First off I created a folded base card from white cardstock and then I decorated it using Wings paper and Gathered paper. I cut out the sentiment from Scent paper and added some die-cuts from collectables pack, paper flowers and cheesecloth. I also used some Kaisercraft gel pens , ink pad – Lagoon and glitter.

Silly Selfies! with Fly Free

Hi Everyone,

Linda here with my last layout using the vibrant Fly Free collection from Kaisercraft. I’ve had a lot of fun with this paper pack and accessories and this time I’ve focused on the Collectables and the fabulous new gel & sparkle pens.IMG_0939 smallSo, I began with a sheet of Coconut Kaisercard, an absolute staple, and added a strip of Gal Pal from the paper pack measuring 13 x 29 cm which I faux stitched with a black glitter pen, to the left hand side. You can see the shimmer in the photo below, they are delicious!.

IMG_0922 smallMy photo’s were printed as a photo-strip using an app on my phone called Mphotobooth but you could always use small photos and mount them onto white card. I added a matt of Coconut Kaisercard and “stitched” this edge too.

IMG_0943 smallOnce placed onto the Gal Pal, I added other strips of paper  15 x 4 cm from the paper pack to the right. I doodled around the inside and outside edges of these using a combination of patterns using the fabulous pens in a variety of colours. To be honest, photographs do not do them any justice – trust me!

IMG_0925 smallThere are some lovely elements in the Collectables and I found these banners with fun sentiments which, after more “stitching” I added to the strips, raised using mounting tape.

IMG_0942 smallI trimmed a couple of flowers from the Collectables too and stuck them top and bottom, followed by some beautiful butterflies which have been shaped with wings raised using the mounting tape too. A little sparkle was added with the glitter pens.

IMG_0944 smallThe Collectables pack has lots of gorgeous butterflies so more were added to the left of the photo too.

IMG_0940 smallAnd of course beautiful blooms and leaves which I shaped and placed along the bottom.

IMG_0941 smallTo finish I ran another line of “stitching” all around the edge of the page and a copious amount of Hot Pink Rhinestones.

Thank-you for taking the time to read – lots more exciting things to come next month so don’t forget to check back in a couple of days!

Until then, take care,

~ Linda ~

Remember & Cherish Forever with Cottage Rose

Hi everyone,

Denise here today with my final layout using the Cottage Rose Kaisercraft collection.

022-2The roses and flowers in this collection made me feel a bit nostalgic and I knew which photo I wanted to use with this layout.

I’ve used quite a lot of stickers from the sticker sheet on this layout.

sticker-sheet-cottage-rose-collectionI started off with Ballet Kaisercard as my background – such a beautiful shade of pink. Next I took the Garden paper, cut it down to 11.75 inches square and placed on the pink card. I then cut the Pink polka dot side of Wallpaper down to 8 x 11.25 inches and the Quilt paper to 3.5 x 11.25 inches. These were placed on the flowery Garden paper – quilted at the bottom and polka dots at the top. Three sticker borders were placed over the join overlapping one another.

I then took the gorgeous black and white lacy Crochet paper, cut a strip 2.5 inches deep and 11.25 inches wide. I then punched down each long side then cut in half horizontally to make two strips . I stuck these at the top and bottom of the layout.

I sprayed the whole layout with Antique Gold Kaisermist005I matted my 6×4 portrait photo onto the pink side of Crochet paper, distressed the edges with a Distress Tool then with a Kaiserglitter pen in Lipstick I doodled around the edges of the mat. I placed the photo on the middle left of the layout. Some doilies from the Collectables pack were tucked underneath the photo, inked around with Aged Mahogany Distress Ink and doodled around too.

I took the really big flower sticker from the sticker sheet and stuck it to some card then cut around it mounted on to foam tape then stuck on to the quilt paper at the bottom – this was also sprayed with Antique Gold Kaisermist.

023From the Frames paper I cut a pink door and made into a tag for some hidden journalling using the Kaiser Gel Pens – this was tucked under the left of the photo.

013

009Photo frame corner stickers were mounted on to foam tape and added at the corners of the layout and Remember & Cherish Forever stickers were stuck to card, cut around and mounted onto foam tape to use as the title as well as a ‘Happy Times ‘ circular sentiment.014I added some pink gems around the doilies and inked around the whole outside edge of the Ballet Kaisercard base with Aged Mahogany Distress Ink to finish off.

I hope you’ve enjoyed our inspiration using the Cottage Rose Collection and hope you will pop back soon for some more inspiration from the team
