Hello Kaisercraft fans,

Emmy here today sharing another project I created for Merly Impressions’ blog using with the wonderful Let It Snow collection (available at Merly Impressions’ online store). MI-love-and-sparkle-web530To create my background I used the Twinkle Star pattern paper and O Christmas Tree pattern paper. First, using Scattered Stars 6×6 Designer Stencil and Texture Paste I created the white dimensional pattern. Once the paste has dried I sprinkled KaiserMist Spray Ink – Gold Shimmer on top. MI-love-and-sparkle-det-aThen I used different pattern papers and pre-cut elements from the Paper Pad to assemble the layers under my picture. I matted my picture on a slightly larger panel of Kaisercard Snow Weave Cardstock and adhered it on top of the patter paper layers. MI-love-and-sparkle-det-b MI-love-and-sparkle-det-cOnce my picture was on its place, I fussy cut the decorated branches from the O Christmas Tree pattern paper and adhered them at the top of the Twinkle Star pattern paper using Mounting Foam Tape. I added also various Christmas ornaments from the Collectables pack and from the Sticker Book matching the collection. MI-love-and-sparkle-det-d

Season to Sparkle with Let it Snow

Hello Kaisercraft fans,

Emmy here today sharing another project I created with the amazing Let It Snow collection (available at Merly Impressions’ online store). MI-Season-to-Sparkle-web530For my background I used the Delightful pattern paper. I cut the 12″ in two, distressed one of the long sides of each panel with Paper Distresser and adhered them on top of a Kaisercard Snow Weave Cardstock.

To create the silver dimensional layer I used metallic silver texture paste and Scattered Stars 6×6 Designer Stencil . Once the paste has dried, I used Kaisercraft Clear Texture Stamp – Tiny Dot with Ink Pad – Black to give my background extra texture. As a final touch I sprinkled KaiserMist Spray Ink – White on top. MI-Season-to-Sparkle-det-aFor the layers under my picture I used  different pattern papers from the Paper Pad. I distressed the edges of all different panels and adhered them to the background paper using Mounting Foam Tape. Then I matted my picture on a slightly larger panel Kaisercard Snow Weave Cardstock and adhered it on top of them. MI-Season-to-Sparkle-det-bTo decorate my page I used various die cut and fussy cut embellishments. I fussy cut the large snowflakes from a pattern paper from the Paper Pad. I layered them on a die cut snowflakes (Kaisercard Snow Weave Cardstock and Snowflakes decorative die) and adhered them with Mounting Foam Tape. The foil embellishments and the cute quotes are from Paper Pad and he Collectables packMI-Season-to-Sparkle-det-c MI-Season-to-Sparkle-det-d MI-Season-to-Sparkle-det-eI die cut the white circles (Decorative Die – Double Bubble) to arrange some flowers on top of them. ‘Tis the Season with Peppermint Kisses

Hello Kaisercraft fans,

Emmy here today sharing my fist project for October. This month I have the pleasure of designing with the cutest Christmas collection ever – Peppermint Kisses – from Kaisercraft’s September release (available at Merly Impressions’ online store). MI-this-the-season-web530

For my background I used two 12″ pattern papers – Under the Tree and Minty. I cut a 14 x 30.5 cm panel from the Under the Tree pattern paper and a 16.5 x 30.5 cm panel from the Minty pattern paper. I adhered both panels on a Kaisercard Snow Weave Cardstock. To hide the “stitch” between the pattern papers, I used a cut-off stirpe from another paper.

To create the white dimensional pattern I used the Scattered Stars 6×6 Designer Stencil and Texture Paste. Once the Texture Paste has dried, I added extra colourful splashes using KaiserMist Spray Ink – Gold ShimmerMI-this-the-season-det-aMI-this-the-season-det-b

Season’s Greetings with Let it Snow

Hello Kaisercraft fans,

Emmy here today sharing my fist project for September. This month I have the pleasure of designing with the lovely Let It Snow collection featuring silver foil accents, Nordic frosty designs and shimmering colours (available at Merly Impressions’ online store). MI-Christmas-web530For my background I used Shimmering pattern paper and pattern papers from the Paper Pad. I cut two 8 x 15.3 cm stripes from a stripy paper, distressed their edges using a Paper Distresser and adhered them at the left hand side of a Kaisercard Snow Weave Cardstock. Then I cut a 20.5 x 30.5 cm panel from Shimmering pattern paper, distressed its edges and adhered it next to the stripy papers (Kaisercraft 12mm Double-sided Tape).

Using Scattered Stars 6×6 Designer Stencil and Texture Paste I created the white dimensional pattern. MI-Christmas-det-a530MI-Christmas-det-bOnce the Texture Paste has dried, I added extra pattern using Clear Stamp – Lattice and Ink Pad – Black.

I matted my picture on a slightly larger panel of Kaisercard White Premium Cardstock. The second layer under the picture I created using pattern paper from the Paper Pad. To adhere all the layers I used Mounting Foam Tape.  MI-Christmas-det-cTo decorate my page I used pre-cut foil embellishments from the Collectables pack and die-cut images (Kaisercard White Premium Cardstock and pattern papers from the Paper Pad; decorative dies – Vintage Clocks, Snowflakes). MI-Christmas-det-d MI-Christmas-det-e MI-Christmas-det-fFor my title I used a cut off stripe from one of the pattern papers, which I layered on top of a slightly larger panel of white cardstock. For the sub-title I used a phrase from the Clear Sticker Sheet – Seasons GreetingsMI-Christmas-det-gAs a final touch I added Rhinestones – Aquamarine.

I hope I managed to inspire you today!
