Snap Shots of Travel with Let’s Go

Hi everyone, Denise here today with my last project using the Let’s Go collection .

I decided to use the many Collectables I still had left, and thought the ‘Cocktail Glass’ shape design would work.

I picked out the Flights paper to use as the base as I love the planes flying all over it, it reminds me of tracking my sons on their many travels over the past few years on the flight tracker app.

I used a piece of pale blue Kaisercard as a background.

After choosing  a frame from the collectables I cut one of my 6 x 4 photos down tho fit behind the frame

Next I lightly laid the collectables where i thought they might go before I stuck them, some flat and some mounted on to foam tape.

Next i spritzed and flicked with some White Kaisermist .

One of the piles of suitcases was a little too white for me so I mixed some Teal and White Kaisermists together, watered them down, then lightly washed over the cases to tone the white down.

I then placed all the collectables and some elements from the Sticker Sheet and the Paper Pad in a Cocktail Glass type shape on the layout.with the photo in the middle.

To finish off I added some little gems and went around the edge with a white pen.

This has been a fun collection to work with and I hope you have enjoyed our projects.

2019 Calendar using Lets Go

Karen here with my third project using the fun and quirky Lets Go collection. I loved this collection so much that I wanted to make a calendar to have on my work desk all year.

calendar 1

For the stand I used a book stand from here  to which I added ‘2019’ using Ebony Letter Stickers.

calendar 2

I cut two pieces of Ivory Cardstock into 12 pieces measuring 4 ins x 6 ins.  I covered these with 12 different pieces of paper from the 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad (trimmed to 3.75 wide and 5.75 tall).

calendar 3

I used a calendar from the Silhouette store and my Silhouette machine to cut the months but if you don’t have a Silhouette there are printable calendars here.

calendar 4

All my photo mounts are 3 ins square and cut from a piece of Licorice cardstock.

calendar 5

I assembled each month by first adding the photo mounts and then the photos.  Next I chose  stickers and Collectables to use each one and finally added the printed month.

calendar 6

This was a very easy project to make but a very useful one that will last all year.

The Adventure Begins with Let’s Go

Hi everyone,

Denise here with my second project using the Let’s Go Kaisercraft collection.

I was really pleased to have been given this collection to work with as it features Australia and that’s where my son and his girlfriend have been living for a year.

I started with a sheet of Cities paper and using the new black iridescent Kaisermist, dabbed through the World Map Mini Designer Stencil in the middle of the paper.

IMG_5731IMG_5732 (2)Next I pierced all around the edge of the layout then sewed with some grey thread.

I matted my photo on to some papers from the Paper Pad

After my photo was placed in the middle I used lots of stickers from the Sticker Sheet and die cuts from the Collectables Pack to embellish around the photo and layout and use for a title. I used foam tape to raise up some of the elements for depth.

For a final touch I covered my photo and flicked some of the black kaisermist over the layout.

I think you will love this collection for your travel photos and hope you have enjoyed today’s post!

Happy crafting

We Made it with Let’s Go

Hello everyone,

Denise here today with my first project using the Let’s Go Kaisercraft collection.IMG_5739 resizedbanner

This layout features the lovely Postage Stamp die cut paper from the collection.

I decided to use the smoky blue coloured one and started by cutting the middle out then fussy cut the suitcase pile and cut around the sentiment.

I used a sheet of Denim Kaisercard to start, leaving the manufacturer’s strip on then  took a sheet of Fly Away paper, cut it in half then adhered the two pieces to the blue card using opposing sides.

I then cut two strips from Carry On paper ( using the dotty side) then adhered them either side of the aeroplane paper.

Next I placed a manufacturers strip with the wording ‘work save travel’ across the middle where the two papers joined then adhered the frame and photo using foam tape at the top left of the layout.I used the wording from the inside of the frame beside it as a sentiment.

Across the bottom I used some of the die cuts from the Collectables pack together with the suitcases that I fussy cut from the centre of the die cut together with a sticker across the bottom from the Sticker Sheet.

Finally I added some blue rhinestones around the title and doodled white dots around the frame and some journalling along the bottom.

I hope you liked today’s project and so pop back for more inspiration from the team.
