Letters from Santa Scrapbook Layout

Good morning everyone.

Elaine here again bringing you a layout using the beautiful, traditional Letters From Santa newly released collection.

imageTo create this page I used the Poinsettia Garland sheet as my base and cut it down to a piece 11″ x 11″. I kept the 1″ strip for use later. I then mounted it on to a piece of gutted Be Merry paper. I then punched two sections along the edge of the first paper.

imageI then took a 6″ square of the Holly and Berries paper and mounted it centrally with the 1″ strip of the Poinsettia Garland paper that we saved earlier across the middle. I inked all the sections with the Vintage ink pad.

I then took a piece of Moss Weave Kaisercard and mounted all the photos. These were placed centrally and a further two at angles as shown. I then took the Holly embossing folder and used a section of the Moss Weave card and embossed it, cutting it into triangles to make the bunting that I then added to the top of the page. I followed the line of the printed garland with Cherry Red Cord and added the embossed triangles. I also inked the edges with the same Vintage ink pad. As a final flourish to the bunting I used a pen from the Kaisercolour Gel Pens to highlight some of the raised elements and added some Lippy Red Rhinestones in between each flag.

imageFor the cluster in the top right hand corner I used collectables from the Letters from Santa Collectables Pack and the Poinsettia Decorative Die for the large flower and leaves. I also used the gel pens to again highlight some of the raised features.

imageI used Deep Yellow Rhinestones for the centre of the Poinsettias at the top and bottom corners and I added a flourish of the Red Hemp Cord in the top cluster.

imageI finished with some more red rhinestones as berries on some the holly and a journalling tag from the collectables pack.

imageI loved looking back on my photos from last year to create this layout and this fabulous collection really did them justice. I look forward to seeing your layouts too.

Scrapbook layout using Letters to Santa collection

Hello all

Elaine here again today bringing you a layout using the wonderful, traditional Letters to Santa collection.

To create this layout I first took a sheet of Santas Workshop Paper from the collection to use as the background. I then took the Poinsettia Frame die cut paper and used a craft knife to carefully cut around the edges of the printed cluster on the paper creating a slot to tuck my photo into. I then centrally mounted the die cut paper over the top of the Santas Workshop background paper and, after mounting my photo on Cherry Weave Kaisercard, I tucked the photo into the slot I had made and secured centrally on the die cut paper using double sided tape.

I then took the Christmas Strip stencil and used the Ranger texture paste along the bottom creating the row of wrapped parcels. I then inked and added two wood flourishes.

Next I took a Kaisercraft Rhinestone Flourish and placed it to the left of the photo behind a cluster that I made using collectables from the collectables pack and several poinsettias I  made using the Poinsettia decorative die. To create an even more luxurious cluster I added Mini Fire Red Blooms and wood flourishes inked with a Vine Ink pad.image

For the top cluster I used less layers of the decorative die to create a smaller flower and I added another inked wood flourish and two pine cones from the collectables pack.

To finish it all off I took the Kaisercraft glue stick and smudged over some of the elements and added fine white glitter from my stash to give some extra sparkle finishing it off with the sentiment from the collectable pack.

I thouroughly enjoyed this collection and I hope you will too.
