Hello Kaisercraft fans!
Emmy here today with my last post for June. This week I decided to design my own background paper, using pattern papers from Kaisercraft’s Memory Lane collection (available at Merly Impressions’ online store).
For my background I used two pattern papers – Jade Jewel and Raw Wood. To distress their edges I used Paper distresser and a piercing tool. First I adhered the panel from the Raw Wood pattern paper on a Kaisercard Kraft Cardstock. Using Waffle 6×6 Designer Stencil and Texture Paste, I created the white dimensional pattern. Then I adhered the second pattern paper panel using Kaisercraft 12mm Double-sided Tape and sprinkled KaiserMist Spray Ink – Antique Gold and White on top.
I decided to use half of the gorgeous Shutters die-cut paper as a ‘frame’ for my picture and sentiments. I added cut-off quotes, fussy cut flowers from a glossy pattern paper from the Paper pad and pre-cut embellishments from the Collectables Pack. I adhered everything to the background using Mounting Foam Tape.
To decorate my page further I added flower clusters using Paper Blooms – Sage and Mini Paper Blooms – Coconut. To die cut the foliage I used Kaisercraft Decorative Die Mini Foliage, Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock and greenish pattern paper.
I hope I managed to inspire you today!
