Hello fellow crafters,
Emmy here today sharing another project I created using the amazing Victorian Home collection from ScrapBoys (available at Merly Impressions online store). For my background I used Victorian Home – Paper 05. Using a foam brush I smudged Dina Wakley White Gesso on top of the design to soften the colours. Once the gesso has dries, I added extra texture using Clear Stamp – Lattice and Ink Pad – Bark (but you can use KaiserInk Pad – Chocolate as well).
Then I took the flowery edges from Victorian Home – Paper 01 and adhered them on top of the altered background paper. Using Decorative Die – Texture Burlap and Kaisercard Tutu Weave Cardstock I added a decorative edge between the background paper and the flower panel. Once everything was in place, I sprinkled KaiserMist Spray Ink – Rose Gold on top.
I matted my picture on a slightly larger panel of Kaisercard Snow Weave Cardstock and then I adhered it using Mounting Foam Tape.
To decorate my layout I used fussy cut images from Victorian Home – Paper 04, Victorian Home – Paper 07 and Victorian Home – Paper 06.For my title I used banners, which I created from the cut-off stripes of the pattern paper. I also used a chipboard word, which I coloured with KaiserInk Pad – Flamingo. Once the ink has dried, I adhered it using ZIG 2 way Glue Fine Point.
As a final touch I added Rhinestones – Soft Pink, Rhinestones – Silver and Stickles Glitter Glue.
