It’s Snow Cold with Christmas Edition

Hi everyone,

Denise here with my second project using Christmas Edition Collection Kaisercraft collection.

PicTapGoI started by using Smoke Kaisercard  as my base. I then cut a piece of Snow Capped paper ( using the black music notes side) down to 11.5 x 11.5 and stuck it to the grey card.

314I ripped  a piece of Christmas Tale paper and stuck this across the black paper.

Next, I splatted with some White Kaisermist over the page.

306Time for some fussy cutting ! I fussy cut some elements from the black side of the Rejoice paper, ferns and Poinsettias.

318I layered the Poinsettia with foam tape and added some gems.

318My photos were  mounted on to some Licorice Kaisercard and some of the Christmas Tale paper, a sticker from the Sticker Sheet was placed under the photos too

I also used some of the Collectables to embellish and some twine on the tag.

Finally,I doodled around the edge of the layout with a white pen, and added some Diamond Stickles to the snowflakes.

Just Because with Mademoiselle

Hello everybody!

Emmy here today sharing my latest layout featuring the lovely Kaisercraft’s Mademoiselle paper line (available at Merly Impressions’ online store). This time I decided to use more yellow-pink-brown palette matching the colours of my picture. I took this picture at Elise’s last classic ballet performance and when I saw the Mademoiselle collection, I knew I have to create a page with it. MI-Just-Because-web-530For my background I used the Timeless foil paper. I used gold glitter paste and Christmas Quarters 12×12 Stencil to created the dimensional pattern and after the paste has dried I sprinkled KaiserMist Spray Ink Pink and Antique Gold on top. MI-Just-Because-det-a (1)To create the layers under my picture I used Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock and pattern paper from the Mini Paper Pad. Using edge punch I added lacy border to the pattern papers and after embossing them slightly with an Embossing Tool, I adhered all the layers together and to the background with Mounting Foam Tape.MI-Just-Because-det-a (4)I fussy cut the roses from the Floral Spray pattern paper and I used Treasures gloss paper and die cuts from the Collectables Pack for the vintage embellishments. To give them more sparkle and glam I added Stickles – Frosted Lace and Rhinestones – Antique Rose.MI-Just-Because-det-a (8) MI-Just-Because-det-a (3)To finish the design around my picture, I used different stickers from the Sticker Sheet, die cuts from the Mini Paper Pad and the Collectables Pack… MI-Just-Because-det-a (6)… and ‘cards’ with sayings from a glossy paper from the Mini Paper PadMI-Just-Because-det-a (7)I added a bird cage (Decorative Die – Birds and Cages) die cut from Kaisercard Coffee Bean Weave Cardstock and I used fussy cut roses and glossy butterflies to decorate it.

Paris Memories with Mademoiselle

Hello everybody!

Emmy here today with my first post for August. This month I have the pleasure to work with one of the most romantic paper lines from Kaisercraft – Mademoiselle (available at Merly Impressions’ online store).

For today’s project I decided to use a picture of my two favourite girls taken a few years ago in Paris – MI-Paris-memories-web-530For my background I used Kaisercard Coffee Bean Weave Cardstock and Mahogany pattern paper. I cut off 0.5 cm from each side of the pattern paper and adhered it to the cardstock. Then I punched the pinkish border from a pattern paper from the Mini Paper Pad and tucked it between the Cardstock and the Mahogany paper.

Once everything was adhered together I stamped the doily pattern using the Clear Stamp set from Chase Rainbows collection and the post stamp pattern with Kaisercraft Postmark texture clear stamp and the same ink. Then I sprinkled KaiserMist Spray Ink Pink and Antique Gold on top. MI-Paris-Memories-det-a (1) MI-Paris-Memories-det-a (2)I cut the banner from the Timepiece pattern paper and inked its edges with brown ink. Then I layered my picture on a slightly bigger piece of Kaisercard Ballet Weave Cardstock and adhered it to the background using Mounting Foam Tape.

To decorate my page I used various die cut elements from the Collectables pack and the Mini Paper Pad and stickers from the Sticker SheetMI-Paris-Memories-det-a (6) MI-Paris-Memories-det-a (3)I also fussy cut the flowers from the Floral Spray pattern paper…MI-Paris-Memories-det-a (10) MI-Paris-Memories-det-a (8)… and the butterflies from a pattern paper from the Mini Paper Pad and Flutter pattern paper.MI-Paris-Memories-det-a (12) MI-Paris-Memories-det-a (11)I added Stickles – Frosted Lace and Rhinestones – Antique Rose to make my embellishments sparkle.

For my title I used one of the images from the Lady Like pattern paper and PARIS from the Treasures gloss paper. Then I added a few die cut elements made from Kaisercard Coffee Bean Weave Cardstock with Kaisercraft’s Ornate Charm Die and Flourish Die.

As a final touch I added a few wooden shapes from the Flourish Pack – Antiques.MI-Paris-Memories-det-a (9) MI-Paris-Memories-det-a (7)I hope I managed to inspire you today!

Love is – Always and Forever

Hello Everyone,

Linda here with a card this time.

The Collectables with the Always and Forever  Kaisercraft collection have the most beautiful roses which cried out to be layered up and I decided to focus on these for my project.

IMG_1023 smallThe card base is 7 1/2″ square and I began with a piece of Commitment  7 1/4″ to leave a small border. Lovable was trimmed to 6×6″ and matted onto Coconut Kaisercard again with a small border. I  added a strip of lace from Sticker sheet across the middle and a doily  and sentiment from the Collectables. This was raised with some mounting foam tape.

IMG_1025 smallI cut a doily from the Collectables in half and placed bottom right and top left.

Next came lots of the roses which I have shaped and added with layers of mounting foam tape, plus a liberal amount of Stickles. Plus a love letter, also from the Collectables.

IMG_1024 smallBut, then I decided to change tack, I added 2 small black ad white photos of my husband and I and another smaller doily from the Collectables, put it in a frame and now it’s on my wall!

IMG_1031 smallCheck back later for more inspiration from the team, until then, take care,

~ Linda ~
