Beautiful Memories with True Love

Hello everybody!

Emmy here today with my last creations for this month featuring Kaisercraft’s “True Love” collection (available at Merly Impressions online store).MI-beautiful-memories1-webFor my background I used My baby pattern paper. I distressed its edges and stitched the pink frame around it. Then I adhered the pattern paper on top of Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock and added a dimensional layer using Damask Quarters 12×12 Stencil and Texture Paste.

Once the Texture Paste has dried, I sprinkled KaiserMist Spray Ink – CandyWhite and Pink on top. MI-beautiful-memories-det-a (2)To create the layers under my picture I used pattern paper from the mini Paper Pad. I fussy cut the flowers and the leaves from My darling pattern paper and adhered them around the picture using Mounting Foam Tape.MI-beautiful-memories-det-a (5) MI-beautiful-memories-det-a (1)The foil hearts I fussy cut from a foil sheet in mini Paper Pad and the darker ones I fussy cut from My Honey pattern paperMI-beautiful-memories-det-a (3) MI-beautiful-memories-det-a (6)For my title I used quote stickers from the 12″ Sticker Sheet. To the Moon and Back with True Love

Hello everybody!

Emmy here today with another layout featuring Kaisercraft’s “True Love” collection (available at Merly Impressions online store).MI-to-the-moon-and-back-webFor my background I used My darling pattern paper. I distressed its edges and added a layer of Dina Wakley White Gesso in the middle of it and adhered it on top of Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock. Once the Gesso has dried, I sprinkled KaiserMist Spray Ink – Antique Gold on top. MI-to-the-moon-and-back-det-a (1)I took the Wreath die cut paper, measured the place I would adhere my picture and cut it in two, leaving the inner part intact. Then I took the cut off part, embossed the flowers and adhered it to the other half, using Mounting Foam Tape. To make it look even prettier, I added Stickles – Star Dust on the blossoms and Rhinestones – Bronze on the leaves.MI-to-the-moon-and-back-det-a (5) MI-to-the-moon-and-back-det-a (4) MI-to-the-moon-and-back-det-bI adhered my picture to the die cut paper, framing it from both sides with black doily sticker edge from the 12″ Sticker Sheet. I embellished it using die cuts from the Collectables Pack and from the mini Paper Pad.MI-to-the-moon-and-back-det-a (6)MI-to-the-moon-and-back-det-a (8)

The lovely wood hearts are from Lucky Dip Wooden Shapes – Love. I altered the hearts with embossing powder and adhered them to my page.MI-to-the-moon-and-back-det-a (9) MI-to-the-moon-and-back-det-a (3)For the quotes next to my picture I used die cuts from the Collectables Pack.MI-to-the-moon-and-back-det-a (2) I hope you enjoyed today’s post!

Magical Thing with True Love

Hello everybody!

Emmy here today with my first layout for this month using the lovely Kaisercraft collection “True Love” (available at Merly Impressions online store). There is nothing better than a paper line filled with shiny hearts and great quotes to create with in the month of St. Valentine!MI-magical-thing-webFor my background I used Kaisercard Licorice Weave Cardstock. I doodled the frame around it using Gelly Roll Pen, Medium Point – White. Then I cut off about 1cm from each site of My Honey pattern paper, ruffled it edges and adhered it on top of the black cardstock using Kaisercraft 6mm Double-sided Tape.

To alter even further my background I added a layer of Dina Wakley Black Gesso in the middle of my page and sprinkled KaiserMist Spray Ink – White and KaiserMist Spray Ink – Antique Gold on top.MI-magical-thing-det-a (1)Then I adhered my picture to a 10x15cm piece of Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock, ruffled its edges and adhered both of them to black pattern paper from the mini Paper Pad. Before I adhered them together I shaped the edges of the pattern paper with an edge punch and added an extra stripe of Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock under it. I adhered all those layers using Kaisercraft 18mm Foam Tape.MI-magical-thing-det-a (5)To decorate my picture I die cut different elegant shapes using glossy papers from the mini Paper Pad and various Kaisercraft cutting dies – FoliageFlourish and Ornate Charm.MI-magical-thing-det-a (9) MI-magical-thing-det-a (8) MI-magical-thing-det-a (7) I added also die cuts from the Collectables pack and I used a saying sticker from the 12″ Sticker Sheet as a title.MI-magical-thing-det-a (2) MI-magical-thing-det-a (6) MI-magical-thing-det-a (10)For the flowers I used Mini Paper Blooms – Coconut and Paper Blooms – Terracotta, and a lot of different die cut leaves and swirls.MI-magical-thing-det-a (4) MI-magical-thing-det-a (3)To finish off my design I added a few Rhinestone Sparklets – Saffron.
