Here is a layout I’ve created using the gorgeous Tropical Dreams collection from Uniquely Creative. This is a new company we are now stocking, I just love their beautiful scrapbooking collections and coordinating products.
I have created this layout using a few papers from the collection, I would advise purchasing the paper pack as you get two of each paper and you will need a couple of extra sheets of some and I also have another layout on the go using this collection.
Below are some brief instructions on how to re-create my layout.
Products used: Uniquely Creative, Tropical Dreams: Sunset UCP2022 x 2|Under The Sea UCP2023 x 2|Paradise UCP2021|Pearls Iridescent UCE1728|Bubbles Texture Die UCD1896|White Smooth Cardstock CD650 x 3|White DMC Cotton
I have used the Tropical Dreams Paper Pack
1.) Cut in half (horizontal) the two Sunset papers, I have then used the two top sections from both papers, put together to form my base as I wanted the top and bottom of my base paper to be pale.
2.) – Cut the white card down to 29.5cm x29.5cm, mat this onto your base.
3.) – Do the same as in step 1.) with the two Under The Sea papers, as I just wanted the pale pink script showing, it doesn’t matter if one half of the script is up side down, this section should then measure 28.5cm x 28.5cm. Sew around the edge with white cotton, mat onto your layout.
4.) – Cut a circle from another sheet of white card, sew using white cotton, mat onto your layout.
5.) – Use the Bubbles Die, cut about 4 from a white piece of card.
6.) – Fussy cut lots of flowers from the Paradise papers.
7.) – Mat your photo onto your layout, arrange the flowers and bubbles die-cuts around the white frame and your photo. Add in the left over little circles from the die-cut around your photo.
I have also used the gorgeous Doily Elements Metal Die, which is now in stock.
