Thank Heaven with Wildflower

Hello everybody,

Emmy here with my last project for April using the lovely Kaisercraft collection “Wildflower” (available at Merly Impressions online store). My assignment for this post was to use journalling on my project, so I decided to write the lyrics of a favourite song of mine from the movie GiGi. I believe it goes perfectly with these pictures. MI-Thank-Heaven-web-530To create my background I used Kaisercard Sea Breeze Weave Cardstock and Spring pattern paper. I punched the pattern paper around and stamped a pattern frame along the edge of the cardstock using  Clear Stamp – Film Edges with Ink Pad – Black. Once I adhered the layers on top of each other I sprinkled KaiserMist on top – Candy and Antique GoldMI-Thank-Heaven-det (8)I fussy cut butterflies from the Wings pattern paper and from a pattern paper from the Paper Pad. I adhered them using Mounting Foam Tape and embellished them with glitter glue. MI-Thank-Heaven-det (10)Then I fussy cut the flowers from Flowering pattern paper. I embossed them slightly and adhered them with Mounting Foam TapeMI-Thank-Heaven-det (4)To decorate my pictures I used die cuts from the Collectables pack and stickers from the Sticker Sheet
MI-Thank-Heaven-det (6)MI-Thank-Heaven-det (3)I added my journalling using Kaisercolour Gel Pens – Black, glitter. MI-Thank-Heaven-det (2) MI-Thank-Heaven-det (5)To finish off my design I added Rhinestones – Black and Epoxy Stickers – Candy.

Emmy here with my second project for April using the amazing Kaisercraft collection “Wildflower” (available at Merly Impressions online store). This time I decide to create a page for my boy Theo. MI-Just-perfect-web-530For my background I used Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock. I stamped a “frame” along the edge using Clear Stamp – Film Edges with Ink Pad – Black. Then I layered the Vines pattern paper on top of it, distressing its edges before adhering it. MI-Just-perfect-det (1)To create the dimensional pattern I used Texture Paste with Mixed Media 12×12 Designer Stencil. Once the paste has dried I spattered KaiserMist Spray Ink – Antique Gold and KaiserMist Spray Ink – White on top. MI-Just-perfect-det (2)Then I sprayed one of the glossy papers from the Paper Pad with KaiserMist Spray Ink – Antique Gold and adhered it using Kaisercraft 12mm Double-sided Tape. I added a second layer of punched black pattern paper on top. MI-Just-perfect-det (6)To decorate my picture I used die cuts from the Collectables pack and stickers from the Sticker Sheet, which I secured with Mounting Foam TapeMI-Just-perfect-det (4)My main quote I cut off from the Gathered pattern paper. I added also die cut texture panels to complete my design (Kaisercard Licorice Weave Cardstock and Decorative Die – Texture Woven).
