Bombay Sunset Scrapbook Layout

Hi again,

Elaine here bringing you a layout using the beautifully colourful Kaisercraft Bombay Sunset collection.

imageTo make this layout I first used the Rosewood paper from the collection as the background. I then took the dotty stencil from the 12 x 12 Designer Stencil Mini Mix and used Ranger texture paste to create a spotty background.

I then took a sheet of the Bollywood paper and added Gesso to lighten it and again used the dotty stencil to add extra dimension to the paper. I then added Wisteria Kaisermist and left to dry.

imageNext I fussy cut the mandala from the bottom left of the Bollywood paper and put to one side and I used three different sized circles and punched out several from the altered Bollywood paper.

I then took a sheet of Coconut white Kaisercard and punched more circles from the card. I then used the Wisteria Kaisermist, Candy Kaisercraft and Pink Kaisermist to spray the circles.

imageNext I arranged all the circles from both the Bollywood paper and the Coconut card over the stencilled Rosewood paper using foam pads to create different levels and I used cheesecloth in amongst the circles.

imageI mounted the card on a remaining piece of Bollywood paper and also a second layer using the reverse of the same paper.

I then took the fussy cut mandala that I had cut earlier and added that beneath the photo.

Next I used two loops of Cherry Hemp Cord and added these beneath some of the collectables from the Bombay Sunset collectables pack and layered these over the circles I had placed earlier.  I used two of the collectables for the title.

I then took flowers from my stash and some Kaisercraft Aubergine blooms and added these to the clusters.

imageAs a final flourish I added Candy Epoxy Stickers and Sunshine Epoxy Stickers for extra interest.

I do hope you would like to give my mixed media piece a try too? It is such a pretty collection!

Elaine
