High Tea Scrapbook Layout

Hello all

Today I am so excited to be bringing you this layout using the stunningly beautiful High Tea collection by Kaisercraft.

CompleteLOWhen I first saw this collection my mind immediately went to scrapping photos of occasions where I had been fortunate to go to Afternoon Tea with relatives. However, I had already scrapped those photos and so my mind turned to less obvious ways to use it. Although there are lots of pretty tea and cake elements to the collection I wanted to show you how to use it in a non ‘afternoon tea’ kind of way. So here it is.. a wedding layout instead.

First I took the sheet of the beautiful Floral wallpaper embossed paper and cut it in half. I then took the Devonshire Paper and used a half a sheet with the embossed paper to make a 12″ x 12″ background. I then layered two pieces of Cuppa paper using both sides and staggered them like this.

Process photoUsing the Doily Clear Texture Stamp I stamped two semi-circle doilies with Tim Holtz Aged Mahogany Distress Ink and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder. I then fussy cut them and tucked them underneath the layers of patterned paper. I then took the Floral Wreath 6 x 6 designer stencil and used a dauber to stencil another semi-circle on the embossed background paper.

After mounting the photograph on another piece of Cuppa Paper, I arranged the fussy cut roses around the edge of the photo along with two heat embossed small doilies that I had stamped using the same ink as before. I also added a Dusty Pink mini bloom and a Hot Pink Mini Bloom too.

close up 3I took some of the heart stickers and the title ‘Beautiful Memories’ from the High Tea Sticker Sheet and used the ‘Love’ circular die cut from the 6″ paper pad.

I then used Dusty Pink Kaisercolour Acrylic Paint and flicked it around the edges of the photo and also tucked some thread in behind the clusters of flowers, adding a few Soft Pink Rhinestones on selected flowers too.

close up 1All in all, I have to say this gorgeous, pretty collection is another of my favourite ever collections… again! lol

So, don’t think to yourself that you don’t have any afternoon tea photos to scrap.. jump right on in and get scrapping all those unscrapped photos you’ve been meaning to scrap with this utterly fabulous collection.

Have Fun

Elaine
