Delivery Options - Merly Impressions

Delivery - for the UK including Northern Ireland

For addresses in the UK (including Northern Ireland), when making a purchase you will be offered two delivery options:

Standard Delivery for £3.35. For smaller packages we will send your parcel by Royal Mail First Class while for larger packages (over 1kg in weight) we will use Royal Mail Second Class or Courier Delivery.
Special Delivery (Guaranteed Next Day) by Royal Mail for £7.95. This option requires a signature on delivery and offers online tracking. Note that, for this option, parcels will only be delivered on weekdays (i.e. no deliveries on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays) and that, for the package to be guaranteed to arrive next day, it should be ordered before 12:00pm noon. Note that for packages weighing over 2kg we may send your goods via a Courier on a similar next day, trackable, signed-for service.

For UK orders over £60 (excluding delivery charges) we offer free delivery. This will be automatically applied in the purchasing process.

We will do our best to ensure that all orders are dispatched within two days of being placed (most orders placed before noon will be shipped on the same day). Note that we cannot be held responsible for the factors outside of our control (such as the failure of, or delays caused by, the postal service) so you should always allow 28 days for delivery of goods. Having said that, we find that the large majority of orders reach our customers within one or two days of dispatch.

Important Note - we have had several customers contact us about parcels that have not been received after about five or ten working days. In most cases it turned out that the parcel was waiting for them at their local Royal Mail sorting office (possibly because R.M. failed to post a card saying a parcel had arrived). In some cases the parcel has been delivered to a neighbour and in a few cases the parcel does arrive normally but after an inexplicable delay of several days. If you have received an email from us saying that your parcel has been shipped but you have not received it after about ten days, we would strongly advise that you contact your local sorting office to ask if it is there.

All purchases are packed in either corrugated boxes or, for smaller products, jiffy or postal bags.

Delivery - for Mainland Europe

Merly Impressions can deliver to the following countries within mainland Europe:

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden

Residents of other European states should contact Merly Impressions before they place their order.

All orders to be delivered to mainland Europe must be for a minimum of £10.00 (before delivery). We charge a standard amount of £10.95 for delivery to mainland Europe however we will refund any excess charges over and above the cost of postage and packing. This means we will often refund money when your parcel weighs less than about 1kg.

If orders exceed 2kg we may ask for extra postage costs depending on the value of the order.
