With the weather being so poor this year and we’ve been really busy at home, we have not got out much (and so a distinct lack of new photos for me). So I browsed through my old photos and came across some that I had not scrapped before.

As members of the National Trust, we’re often found at various houses at the weekend. Our local house has beautiful gardens and the kids seemed truly enthralled by what was inside.

I experimented with just layering papers over a plain grey background. Scrunching them slightly before sticking them down loosely to give them a lovely layered effect. You may have spotted my recent attraction to vellum – I just love the light feel it gives and the way you can see below.

I layered up several images from the Collectables  and you may notice that I have a new toy – Silouhette! I recently sold my Cricut and cartridges which was enough to buy me the new machine. I am still working out how to make the most of it, but I’m sure you’ll be the first to know!

Materials Used (All Periwinkle)
Papers – Shimmer, Morning Light, Impression, Secret
Embellishments – Collectables

Thanks for stopping by.
