Cards and Tags with First Noel

Hi everyone,

Denise here with my first project using The First Noel Kaisercrft collection.IMG_5077 resized banner

My assignment for the first project was free and when I saw the many greetings and images in the collectables it made me want to make some cards and tags.

I decided to use Kraft card for the bases  and started by creating two 6×6 cards .

The first card was  covered with a mustard dotty paper from the paper pad then I simply added a Three Kings image from the Starry paper and a gold nativity star and sentiment from the Collectables  and finally some gold gems.

The next card was again a 6 inch x 6 inch size. I matted and layered some kraft and black card together with some papers from the 6.5 x 6.5  paper pad. The presents were a mix of collectables and fussy cut from the 6×6 paper pad. I used a sticker from  the Sticker Sheet on the background.

The last little card is something a bit different, I started with three 4 inch squares and scored diagonally across each one.IMG_5092

I then stuck the middle one across the other two as shown below.IMG_4985

Your pyramid is now made.

I decorated all three sides of the pyramid, but you could leave one side clear to write your own greeting on.

Finally I made some co- ordinating tags from the same kraft card, which were decorated with papers from the main collection, sticker sheet and the paper pad and collectables. To finish off I edged all the cards and the tags with a gold pen. To finish off I added some Bakers Twine.

There are some gorgeous projects coming up from the team with this collection. I hope you have enjoyed these !

Let’s Celebrate with Party Time

Hello everyone,

Denise here with my first project using the lovely new Kaisercraft collection Party Time.

photo-02-12-2016-09-16-26It’s a gorgeous  vibrant colourful collection that is perfect for your celebration layouts.

I decided to make a layout with lots of different papers layered, using photos from my first hen night I went to last year for my now daughter in law.

I started off using Double Scoop paper as the base for the layout. I then used the Sew Easy Tool to make a wavy line at each side on the Fairy Bread paper.photo-13-11-2016-12-24-22photo-13-11-2016-12-24-14These are great for adding extra detail to your layouts.

Next I took Confetti and,100s and 1000s papers, cut them into rectangles and strips and laid them out and weaved some of them on the base to use as bases for my photos.

I matted my three photos onto the papers and placed them diagonally across the page.

Next, I used some elements from the sticker sheet to embellish the page.

sticker-sheet-party-time-collectionI used two hearts and some wording mounted on to foam tape from the sticker sheet.

I also used some twisted colour twine which was adhered across some bunting from the sticker sheet along the bottom of one of the photographs.

photo-02-12-2016-09-38-40I hope you have enjoyed this layout. It was fun to put together and shows how you can make a layout with some great papers, stickers, scissors, glue and some foam pads, with a little bit of sewing on the sides ! Please do pop back for some more inspiration from the team soon.

Remember When…

It’s already that time of month for me to share my posts with you…doesn’t time fly? This month, I had the gorgeous Save The Date collection to work with and here is the first of my projects using the collection.

This photo is a very special one and was taken when I was 7 years old and it turned out to be the very last photo taken with my Grandad before he died. I’d made him a special birthday cake and because it was the first one that I’d ever made all on my own and because he was so proud of that cake, he insisted on having our photo taken in his garden. So, when I saw these papers and the stickers from the Alpha Sticker Sheet, I just knew that this photo would fit these papers so well and, I was right!!!

For this scrapbook layout, these are the items I used:

Thank you so much for stopping by and having a look at my layout ~ I hope you like it!

See you soon…
