Shipping policy
Delivery - for the UK including Northern Ireland
For addresses in the UK (including Northern Ireland), when making a purchase you will be offered:
- For order of less than £60.00 in value:
- Standard Delivery for £4.25. For smaller packages we will send your parcel by Royal Mail while for larger packages (over 1kg in weight) we will either use Royal Mail or Courier Delivery (we usually use Hermes).
- For UK orders over £60 (excluding delivery charges)
- We offer free delivery which you will be able to select during the checkout process. If you order is high value and eligable for free delivery then it may be shipped by Courier (often Hermes) since it is more secure.
We will do our best to ensure that all orders are dispatched within two working days of being placed. Larger packages that are sent via Courier sometimes take one extra day to dispatch depending on Courier pickup times.
We find that the large majority of orders reach our customers within one or two days of dispatch. Note that we cannot be held responsible for the factors outside of our control (such as the failure of, or delays caused by, the postal service) - please allow 14 days before you contact us regarding a delayed package. Important Note - If you have received an email from us saying that your parcel has been shipped but you have not received it after about ten days, we would strongly advise that you contact your local sorting office to ask if it is there. We have heard of cases where a parcel had been held at a local Royal Mail sorting office, often because the R.M. had failed to post a card saying a parcel had arrived. In some cases parcels are delivered to a neighbour and in a few cases the parcel does arrive normally but after an inexplicable delay of several days (our experience is that this is becoming more common in recent months).

Delivery - for EU (European Union) Countries
Please note that parcels delivered to EU countries may incur additional VAT (tax) and other charges on receipt. This is due to custom rules and is outside of our control. We cannot say exactly how much the charges will although VAT rates in the EU vary between 20% and 25% so any additional charges incurred are likely to be in this range.
We usually ship within about two days of receiving orders. Parcels are sent on International Tracked shipping via Royal Mail who aim to deliver within five days although this is very variable when shipping to EU countries. Customs procedures may add to this time.
Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight of the parcel and vary between about £8.00 and £12.50 (converted into Euros at the checkout). We are only able to ship parcels with a maximum weight of 2Kg (the parcel weight is calculated at checkout so you will be unable to order more than 2Kg of products).
